After the success of the first, second and third phase projects, the Urban Water Supply and Sanitation (Regional) Project (2019-2024) has been implemented in 20 cities after learning some lessons for project management and sustainability. This project aims to provide high and medium-level drinking water services to about 320,000 urban population and improved sanitation facilities to about 64,000 people. For the construction of urban projects, there is a provision for consumer organizations to contribute up to 30% of the construction cost. 5% of that amount from consumers.
